The Challenge
OPC runs a large SAP estate (S/4HANA, BTP, SuccessFactors, and GRC) on AWS serving roughly 450 users. Following the platform build, OPC needed a professional managed-services partner to operate it reliably: ongoing SAP Basis administration, AWS infrastructure management, 24/7 critical incident response with defined SLAs, and continuous SOC 2, GDPR, and ISO compliance, all integrated with its internal NOC/SOC.
The Solution
CloudBuzz operates OPC's SAP-on-AWS platform as a supplementary managed service: SAP Basis – system maintenance, performance tuning, security patching (Hot News), kernel and support-package updates, and non-production refreshes. AWS infrastructure – management of compute, networking, and data services, plus automated provisioning of new services. Operations – a single SLA covering both layers, 24/7 critical incident coverage, and integration with OPC's NOC/SOC. Compliance – ongoing SOC 2, GDPR, and ISO management with quarterly security patching.
The Results
OPC gained a seamless operational takeover with SAP Basis and AWS infrastructure managed under a single SLA. Around 450 SAP users are supported with 24/7 critical incident coverage and NOC/SOC integration, a dedicated support channel with tiered response, and maintained SOC 2, GDPR, and ISO compliance with accelerated SAP security-fix deployment.
